Kabinenhaube mit Bedampfungseffekt??

Guten Tag liebe Kollegen.

Wer kann mir helfen, wie man den Effekt hinbekommt, der bei der original F16-Kanzel auftritt, das diese in einem leichten Gold/Bronze-Effekt spiegelt??

Hat das schon einmal jemand versucht?

Ich habe das auch schon mal in einem unserer Magazine bei einem Modell gesehen.
Auf der BVM-Homepage gibt es auch einen Bandit mit so einer Haube.
Leider hat BVM keine direkte Mailadresse...

Bei www.spiderjets.be auf der Seite steht eine Erklärung. Ich muß aber dazu sagen, daß diese englisch ist.

..."The tint was accomplished by mixing a batch of hot water (very hot but not to melt or distort the canopy) and one package of Rit / Tint and Dye color N°43 "Sunshine Orange" and two packs of color N°42 "Golden Yellow" and one cup of salt. The salt is the key to color absorption into the plastic. Mix all this into a container that is large enough to submerge the entire canopy. The process only takes a few minutes and you can adjust the darkness by how long you leave the canopy in the solution. Some canopies from other kit manufacturers like Yellow A/C will not take a tint because of the different plastic being used. I left the Yellow A/C's F-18's canopy in for hours with little success but the SpiderJets canopy works very well in about 10 minutes."...

Das klingt sehr einfach.

Da fragt man sich doch, wie man auf solch eine Idee kommt....??!!

Ob die Haube mal in die Wanne gefallen ist, als die Frau beim Färben der T-Shirts war....grins..

Schau mal bei www.rcuniverse.com
suche unter F16 canopy tinting und Du findest das was Du suchst.
Selbst bin ich gerade daran, eine Haube für meine neue F16 mit RIT einzufärben. Dazu verwende ich RIT-sunshine yello und golden orange das mir ein Freund in USA besorgte.

jetzt sagt mir nur noch einer, was sind das für Farben, bisher komme ich nur auf Haarfarben? kann mich aber täuschen?
Aber die Idee find ich gut, zeigt mal wieder das alles machbar ist. Dabei brauche ich mir nur die Verfärbungen meiner Kraftstoffschläuche anschauen, der Farbton käme auch ganz gut hin.
Aber die Haube monatelang in Sprit legen, ist dann auch nicht die Lösung.
