Graupner Tangent Flamingo 2006

take the Flamingo.
You can also look directly by Graupner in the Shop/call by mail, as I be there last week, there was one piece in the showroom (its a little bit cheaper).

yes, and he is bigger, there is more place in the Fuselage...
I flow the Flamingo some Years ago. The Flamingo is also heavyer.
But look at the brand new Alpina 3001...

Hello Gandalf

I just finished my Flamingo two weeks ago and have been flying this bird now a few times. It is really a good allround sailplane, can be flown slowly but although with speed. With butterfly it can be easily landed, even without this feature landing is easy if you have enough space.

My setup:
- weight: 2880 g
- motor: Hacker 30-12XL
- akku: Robbe 4S 3330 mAh
- Graupner BRUSHLESS CONTROL 70 SBEC
- reciv.: Schulze Alpha 8W35-W
- servos: 4x Futaba 3150 in the wings Hitec HS 85MG for elevator and rudder

With this setup handstart is no problem and the glider is going up in a 60-70° angle. Last sunday I even managed a flight with 3 Min. motor time in total and a duration of the flight of 69 Min (had some thermic influence there)!.
I really love this bird!

so long

George
