If you're using any ai/ru mix, you might want to reduce that instead of or with your increase in down ai (reduced differential).
Got this from Vald when I got my Molded Graphite C (electric)...
These are Recommended Control Movements for built-up Graphite are as follows...
(Vladimir said that for the molded Graphite Elevator +6mm/-6mm ;
Rudder +18mm/-18mm. The other movements are the same.)
GRAPHITE CONTEST:
Elevator + 15 mm / - 10 mm
Rudder + 15 mm / - 15 mm
Ailerons + 20 mm / - 8 mm
Flaps 50 % of Aileron Movement
Launch setting: - Flaps: - - 8 to - 12 mm depending on wind strength
Ailerons: - 50 % of the flap movement
Elevator: - + 1 mm, Mix in up elevator on successive launches, until model starts to weaves on the line then reduce setting slightly to give straight launch
Butterfly Flap: - 60 deg down
Aileron: - + 25 / 30 deg up
Elevator - 2 mm - Set to suit - The model should not balloon when the brakes are applied
Speed: - Flaps and Ailerons: - Reflex Up + 1 mm to + 3 mm,
Elevator -1 to -1.5 mm down, adjust to suit.
Distance: - Flaps and Ailerons: - Neutral, Elevator - Neutral.
Thermal: - Flaps and Aileron: - Down - 3 mm, Elevator + 1 to mm up, Adjust to suit.
Flap. Aileron Mixing: -
Speed: - The inboard flaps can operate as Ailerons and move 50% of the Aileron movement, (set to taste).
The Rudder coupling is switched off
The elevator is in operation.
Up elevator is coupled to Down Flap - Full up = + 5 mm flap (down)
Distance - The inboard flaps can operate as Ailerons and move 30% of the Aileron movement.
The rudder and elevator are in operation.
Up elevator is coupled to Down Flap - Full up = + 5 mm flap (down)
Thermal, The Flaps do not operate as ailerons. - This reduces drag during thermal turns.
The rudder and elevator are in operation.
Up elevator is coupled to Down Flap - Full up = + 5 mm flap (down)If you're using any ai/ru mix, you might want to reduce that instead of or with your increase in down ai (reduced differential).
