GPS Logger 2

Hello
I would like to understand if I can avoid to use 1 rx channel with GPSLogger.(Jeti Duplex system)

Manual says that single orange cable to a free channel is optional, but in this case : what is his function ?
only to switch on and off Gps Logger ?

- Start/Stop of the logging
- Switch between Min/Max and live values
- Startpoint fixing for OLC-flights

Not sure, if the secondary connection might be required for power connection as well (depending on the telemetry Channel)

Hi Mikko,

This is the first cable I usually remove from the connector.
When using Jeti this is not really required. Logging is done in the transmitter unless you want to the GPS competition stuff.

I agree to Onki: if you fly with Jeti Duplex, you don't have to use the optional channel.

I also fly with Jeti (DC-16 and DC-24) and have 4 GPS Logger 2 and 1 GPS Logger 1, all in my sailplanes. The transfer from GPS Logger works via EX-telemtry, so you can do anything you want right at the Jeti Transmitter and don't need to connect the optional channel.
