Das mit den Fahrwerks Kappen .........ja ich weis.
Ich muss das Bugfahrwerksservo noch von oben einbauen, dass die Klappe ganz schliesst.
Da alle Klappen mit Luft schliessen , also auch mit nur einem Ventil, bleiben leider alle offen.
Kommt aber noch
Sehr gut gefallen mir deine airbreaks, hab leider beim Bau damals nicht dran gedacht sie anzulenken

Started with the winter job.
Removed everything from the wings, so they are empty.
Time for some 'paint touch up', I have some tape at the underside of the tiptanks but not that far back:
Top wheel as it was installed,
Bottom wheel when it will be modified with bearings and the new brakes:
Bearings installed:
Inner rim modified to hold the new brake disc, this brake disc will just slide over the pins:

I will reinforce the inside of the wing just inboard of the aileron cover with some ply where blind nuts will be mounted.
The idea is to make the fuel tank fixed with the hard points (think I will never fly with only the hard points) and screw the fuel tank with hard point to the wing with 2x M4 bolts.
Will make some more pics if I am that far.

Mhhhh, molds.....
Was not my intention but who knows.
First I was thinking about this and make them from fibre glass, but second thought was that If I had to make a complete mother form I also could make them directly.
Just like the tanks, I maybe will using some spray cans for this, make a balsa nose and tail and glass.
Will see.
There is a nice new gadget coming.
This I can connect to the Kingtech ECU (the Xicoy V10), and then I can read out the turbine parameters on my JetiBox.
I do not have to plug in the GSU anymore

First I was thinking about this and make them from fibre glass, but second thought was that If I had to make a complete mother form I also could make them directly.
Just like the tanks, I maybe will using some spray cans for this, make a balsa nose and tail and glass.
Will see.

1) making a mold and epoxy a tank and pylon (more work but more strength),
2) making a mold and pull a tank vaccum with stiffners inside.
What are your ideas?

that is option 2.
But I think I go for option 1, this is stiffner itself I think and better sprayable for the customers own color.
Make 1 half tank with balsa with a horizontal centerline, glass and finish it completly.
Then make a plug of this (think with plaster).
this plug will be waxed several times, and then make the half tank.
Insert a few stiffners + mounting hardware.
Make the other half.
Put them together and finish the seam.
Wil do this also for the pylon.
And then one side is ready.
Sounds easy this way, now doing it
and thinking of a selling price
And make them for a Small L-39
