Hier die Kopie davon, sorry is in Englisch.
Hello,
I have summarised my experience with the MAMO VPP System.
I like to share those Information's with you because it tooks me a lot of time to start flying VPP with a good working setup.
I hope that helps people who like to start flying VPP
Don't hesitate to make corrections at my Information's.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Motor:
=====
- Weight 19g … 30g
- RPM/V 1700 … 2000
I recommend:
- AXI 2203/40 for 2S (Mamo 9” Blade)
- Hacker A20-34s for 2S (Mamo 9” Blade) or 3S (Mamo 8" Blade)
VPP System
=========
- MAMO Upside Down System
Why the MAMO System?
- Easy to assemble
- Lightweight
- crash resistant
- Small pitch servo can be used (3.6 – 5 g), because of construction of system
Plane
====
Maximum weight of the plane: 160g with Axi (2S)
170g (2s) up to 190g (3s) with Hacker
From my point of view Axi Motor are the best choice.
Try to keep weight less then 155g to get best performance.
Pitch Values (AXI System):
====================
1mm forward pitch
1.6 mm backward pitch
(Measured from 0 Pitch line)
These values are only for first setup. They have to be adjusted
individually to get best performance.
Problems:
=======
1. RPM sounds very high
Solution: Increase Pitch value
2. Motor is booking at full throttle
Solution: Decrease Pitch value
Tip: For 1. and 2. Use watt meter to check current.
Maximum power at 8,5 A positive and negative pitch
3. Vibrations form half throttle and going more worse at full throttle
Solution: Check Motor/Motor Mount connection
Check Motor Mound Plane connection
Check Blade Screws, maybe they are bend (most possible reason
after a crash)
3. Vibrations only at a specific RPM (e.g. only at half throttle position and no vibration at full throttle)
Solution: Blades have to be balanced.
How to do: just put a small piece of scotch tape (about 5 x 10mm)
around the leading edge of one blade. If it works better try bigger or
smaller pieces, until vibrations are gone. If it becomes worse, put tape
on the other blade.
Flying tips:
========
If you are going down into a nose down hover press left aileron.
Do not keep fixed negative trust value.
Fluctuate between full negative pitch and small forward pitch.
Reason for that is that the changing torque of the motor stabilizes the
plane in the air.
If you like to go up out of nose down hover use full negative pitch and
press right aileron.
You do not have to do correction by rudder or elevator. You just have
to play with the throttle stick.
If you get the right feeling it becomes quite easy.
