Hallo.Habe auch einen Stingray in Heavy Slope "italien flag" bestellt,Anzahlung ist heute raus,freu mich schon.Was für Servos passen in die Flächen?Weiss wer das ungefähre Abfluggewicht der HS Version?

Gratuliere zum Stingray
Habe mal im italienischen Forum gestöbert, da hat dieser Flieger schon 28 Seiten vollgemacht. In der ersten Testmühle hat ein Pilot HS 225 MG verbaut, d.h. es gehen bis zu 17 mm rein. Ist sicher die guenstigste, aber nicht die Ideallösung für so ein Geschoss in der HS- Version. Ich tendiere zu den Graupnerservos der 6`er Reihe, hat ja noch ein wenig Zeit. Abfluggewicht liegt bei ca. 7,2 kg, bei 66 dm, Flächeninhalt.

But I remind that you can buy directly here from italy only until the xmodels will have signed the final distributor agreement for Germany
After the sign, the distributor will take care of all Xmodels sales in Germany.
Probably the heavy slope version will take off from 7 to 7,2 Kgs.
The ideal servo size which fits wing for the aleirons is the HS225MG or similars with same size.
For flaps you can use standard size servos.
This is really a HEAVY slope version.
Our 3,3m Stingray took off today with 6500g in our "standart" full high-modulus-carbon version.
And I'm sure: it will be hard to reach the structural limit (in front of the slope
) of this version...We droped this version really high/deep.
...and this creates an amazing sound!!!

You are right Tobias. The structural limit for the Heavy Slope exceeds any human use, but "never say never" because I'm sure someone will try some hard DS with this, and we are waiting for some feedbacks.
The super-weight is mainly a consequence of the choice to use the S6061 in the high range of its best wingload... so we said: where do we want to put this requested weight? Well... in wings of course!!!
For people which likes to put some ballast and have a model weight adjustable, they just buy the standard version, which is strong enough.
To say the same thing in other words: some people likes to buy Ferrari and Porsche not because they have to run fast everyday, but because they know that everyday they have 500 HP under their ass!!!!
