Yes, the landing gear is too low also by mine but I have changed it with this one: http://www.elster-modellbau.de/produkte/zubehoer/fahrwerk_su.html It is carbon made and is stronger and higher than the original. The original is also too elastic.
josin, I have the feeling that the front cut for the engine cooling is too small and it is the single one that gets the air to the engine. Maybe would not be bad a bigger one.

My collegue said that on his Raven, the CG is about 3cm in front of the wing stab.

This means 1,5-3 cm ahead of the tube. So, my flight collegue has made it right

We found also that the landing gear is too elastic for this weight. My flight collegue has replaced it with a Sukhoy-type one from elster modellbau. It is carbon made, stronger and offers a higher position of the model (I find it too high, but is better than a lower one on a bad field). I will put it also on my model.
