...viel besser und schön geflogen!
Thanks.
oh ja, sehr geil, der Sart war mega. Glückwunsch.
Gruss Tom
Thanks.
These 4 flight were test flights.
First flight was to check the small adjustments of the deflections after the maiden flight with out canard steering.
Roll rate was still very high and overall still sensitive.
Adjusted deflections, and more expo.
2nd flight was with steerable canards, take off run is short then
Roll rate was better but still fast.
During this flight donme some rolls and loops.
The rest just burning through the sky.
3rd flight we have done some stall test.
First one without steerable canards, very uneventfull. The Eurofighter just slowly turns into a very wide very slow spin to the left.
After 2 rotations I had to pull it out because the ground was to low (and I started high enough).
Okay, that`s no fun.
Then a stall with canards steering, same story.
High speed stall? The Eurofighter turns to the right in a big curve, that`s all.
Inverted? was just managable with full down but he did it.
Flight 4 was just some tearing up the sky with canard steering.
CG can a little more back, deflections needs some more tweaking, and I think with full up and canards full down it can 'stand' in high alpha with a very slow forward speed.
Now the Eurofighter will be taken apart and be prepared for installing a rudder, airbrake and making ready for painting and the 2019 show season.
In the mean time the turbine will be installed in the Dutch RC Kits F-86 Sabre for some winter flying.
Best regards,
Berto.
