Kolibri T35 question

Do you need to use the electronic gas valve when starting the T35, or can I connect directly?

no problem, you can connect direktly and use manualy; if during start turbine switch to kero close gas tap - works perfect!

But you should consider 2 things:

1.) you need a self locking connector (e.g. FESTO QSK4 153439 ) in the gas tube.

2.) you should first start the ignition sequence and then open the gas valve. Otherwise it may lead to, what happend to me , maybe with worse consequences...

i do not use Any electric valve with the Kolibri!
Even not a checkvalve on the gas_line.
But yes, FIRST Start the "Start sequence", wait for the first turning of the Rotor, then open SLOWLY the Gas, wait for the "plob" Sound, then i open the gas a little more.
Never had problems.....
