52. Donau-Wanderpokal 2020 - CANCELLED

Liebe F3f´ler,

Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation rund im das Corona-Virus, wurden von Seiten des ÖAeC alle Wettbewerbe bis einschließlich 15.05.2020 abgesagt (siehe PROP.AT). Dies trifft auch den 52. Donau-Wanderpokal.
Die F3Freunde bemühen sich um eine Verschiebung des Wettbewerbs in den Herbst. Dies muss allerdings erst mit den Verantwortlichen bei der CIAM abgeklärt werden und hängt natürlich auch mit der Entwicklung der Situation rund um COVID-19 zusammen. Sobald es diesbezüglich neue Informationen gibt, werden wir sie umgehend hier veröffentlichen.

Betreffend der bereits bezahlten Startgelder gilt folgendes Prozedere:
Jeder, der das Startgeld zurück erstattet haben möchte, gibt dies bitte einfach kurz via email an f3freunde@f3f.eu bekannt. Die Rückbuchung wird dann umgehend erfolgen.
Andernfalls wird das Startgeld einbehalten und zählt für den nächsten Donau-Wanderpokal, entweder beim potentiellen Ersatztermin im Herbst oder nächstes Jahr. Teilnehmer, die sich für diese Variante entscheiden, sind für den nächsten Donaupokal jedenfalls fix angemeldet.

Due to the current situation regarding the corona virus, the ÖAeC has cancelled all competitions until 15.05.2020 (see PROP.AT). This also affects the 52nd Donau-Wanderpokal.
The F3Freunde are trying to postpone the competition until autumn. However, this has to be clarified with the responsible persons at the CIAM first and is of course also connected with the development of the situation around COVID-19. As soon as there is new information about this, we will publish it here immediately.

Concerning the already paid entry fees the following procedure applies:
Everybody who wants to have the entry fee refunded, please announce this briefly via email to f3freunde@f3f.eu. The back-booking will then take place immediately.
Otherwise the entry fee will be retained and counts for the next Donau-Wanderpokal, either at the potential replacement date in autumn or next year. Participants who choose this option are in any case firmly registered for the next Donau-Wanderpokal.

Hallo allerseits,

dazu ein Update vom CIAM-Präsidenten:
Seitens der FAI sind alle Wettbewerbe bis 20.04.2020 abgesagt. Es ist wahrscheinlich, dass dieser Zeitrahmen zu gegebener Zeit noch erweitert wird.
Eine Verschiebung der Wettbewerbe kommt bisher nicht in Betracht.

Dear World Cup Coordinators,

Considering the COVID-19 situation, CIAM Bureau decided to suspend all events which were included on the calendar and scheduled to happen until April 20, 2020.

With the lack of experience we all have with COVID-19, it is more likely that this period will be extended. Therefore what we are suggesting is to inform all organizers, that for the time being, it is not possible to reschedule the events which are, or will be affected by this suspension. We don’t know either when this emergency period will be over.

As we wrote on our Urgent Announcement which was sent to all NACs and delegates, this will be possible only when the situation will allow for that.

Therefore until further notice no rescheduling will be planed or confirmed. As soon as we are confident about the public health and the safety of the CIAM community, all the organizers will be contacted by you, in order to let them know what they have to do or to expect. The calendar will be reviewed and rescheduled for all at the same time.
