ASG 29 (Tangent - 6 m): Erfahrungen?

This weeknd made a maiden flight with my ASG
Awesome glider

Hacker A50-12L Turna
LiPo 6S 5000mAh
PR props 15,5x9,2 sca
Torcman FES syst
GFK landing gear with FEMA wheel 112
Futaba and Hitec serv
Jeti REX12 + Rsat2 + Max BEC 2Dex and 2x LiPo 2S 4000m
SM GPS Logger 3 with TEK var
For now only aerotow, but climb rate with engine is 5-5,5m/s on full thortle.

Great! Congratulations! Mine still needs to be programmed, but I guess it will be ready for maiden in a couple of weeks.

By the way, what throws have you used for the flaps / the ailerons in the butterfly position?

Thank you.
In full butterfly, flaps are down 45mm (maximum) measured from output edge, and middle ailerons are maximum up (about 22-25mm)
In this phase, only outside ailerons are working for alignment.

Thank you - so flaps and inner ailerons don’t move for alignment during landing at all, right? Have you increased the throws of the outer ailerons accordingly? What is the throw of the elevator in this phase?

Yes, only outer ailerons are working when butterfly is open more than half... Didnt increased throws on ailerons, always the same (as tangent says in manuals)
Elevator goes down about 2mm, this you have to try on your plane and set it how you like it, but for fisrt atempt you can set 2mm down.

First try was scary, but after some elevator adjusment, second try was perfect

I would suggest less travel and some Expo on the ailerons!

Elevator down with throthle...
About 1.5mm elevator down with full throtle...
On first take off elevator was neutral with full throtle...

Musste mal kurz pausieren, aber egal…
.. nur noch die Ruderausschläge programmieren.
Ich dachte jemand hier hätte da schon mal was drüber geschrieben, find es aber nicht mehr.
Könnt Ihr mir da kurz auf die Sprünge helfen?
(Besonders die Butterfly-Ausschläge würden mir helfen)
Meine wiegt am Ende nun 13,2kg, hoffe, dass ist noch im Rahmen.

Hi Clodi,
for butterfly I use flaps maximum down, and midle ailerons maximum up, outer ailerons stay in midle and use only them to control glider when it at full butterfly.
All other throws I use as Tangent says in manuals....
Maybe just more flaps down for thermals...

wollte auch gerade schreiben, dass ich das so wie Nikola eingestellt habe - die Werte stehen übrigens in Post 844 weiter oben; geflogen bin ich aber noch nicht - musste erstmal meine ASH26 reparieren, die leider verunglückt ist… :-(

etwas Tiefe dazumischen solltest Du nicht vergessen - glaube bei mir waren das etwa 35% - also 2-3mm.
