The first F3K Brezn Cup Munich is in the books 
….what an emotional roller coaster
We were talking about having a F3K contest here in Munich since almost two years, finally this year we just decided to do it.
Even if you could have started slowly the first BreznCup was directly a WorldCup Contest, a Eurotour Contest and the Open German Championship
As „newbees“ to the discipline of organizing such an event we tried to plan and prepare everything as good as possible beforehand - special thanks to Sebastian Brandes who helped us a lot with his huge experience
Having had set up the MFG Kermess flying field we welcomed 60 participants on friday afternoon and had some lovely conversations and training flights!
Everything went like planned.
At round about 10 o‘clock an incredibly massive thunderstorm literally blew us away. All tents were destroyed and everything was under water.
Felt…the contest was over for us from an organisator point of view…
After an hour of heavy wind, hail and massive rain silence appeared and everybody came out of their hideouts.
What happened then was incredibly to feel … to see that everyone was good, happy, laughing and going to get a beer out of the frigerator and standing together again was an emotional blowout. From „everything is over“ to „eveythin is fine“ within just a blink of an eye … what an unbelievable community 🥹
At this point also a big thanks to our friends of the MFG Kermess that managed to organize new tents and everything we needed OVER NIGHT!

That dark friday night was followed by the best weather we could have asked for the contest
On saturday our Contest Director André Stier - who just travelled from one of the northernmost parts of Germany to one of the southernmlost to do an amazing job as Contest Dorector - started the contest in time! André big big thanks to you!!! You are an absolutly lovely guy!
We flew seven challenging rounds and saw a bunch of incredible flights.
Saturday was ended with a sundwoner
at the flying field, a tombola with prices from our sponsors CHAServo KST High Performance Servos Aviation Toys.nl Mahmoudi Modellsport CUMULUS MODELLBAU and fresh baked pizza by our PizzaBoy Tom Glaser.
Sunday started as saturday with calm weather. We managed to fly 5 more rounds and ended the contest with a „One Flight Only“ that shuffled the field a bit again.
Arijan Hucaljuk managed to fly a more or less completly clean contest and can now name himself the reigning German Champion and the very first winner of the BreznCup Munich.
He is followed by Cederic Duss on second and Vincent Merlijn on third place.
The juniors podium was lead by Colin Angermann followed by Cqpucin Ragot on second and Christian Brandner on third.
During the ceremony also the honor of the 2022 WorldCup Contest Tour and Eurotour Contests Winner took place.
After the ceremony an unforegetable weekend ended and it only remains us to say THANK YOU to you guys that you traveled from all over europe and especially Abu Dhabi and the USA to Munich just to throw little pieces of carbon into the orbit
Now we have to let everything settle down a bit and then stick our heads together but we are leaning towoards to say…
… see you next year in Munich fam 🩵

Ich fands der absolute Hammer. Absolut einzigartige Organisation auf höchstem Niveau, Wettbewerb absolut hochklassig und sehr herausfordernd, mit einigen atemberaubenden Flügen. Das Gewitter am Freitag war aufregend, das Frühstück dann ein perfekter Start in den Tag und die Pizza am Abend war wirklich echt geil. Erste Sahne. Gratuliere, danke für alles und ich hoffe, dass das nicht das letzte Mal war.
