The 2. Swinging Denmark F3K 2009 contest will take place in the weekend 8-9th of august 2009 on Brande Modelflyveklubs flying field. More info will follow and will be posted on this thread:

Location will be Brande mfk. (the modelflying club of Brande (town nearby):

The flying field is close to Billund Airport where among others Ryan Air flyes (http://www.billund-airport.com/). If you have the desire to come and fly and are comming by air to Billund, we will arrange transport from the airport to the flying field a couple of times friday and back to Billund Airport sunday afternoon. We will also supply you with a tent (maybe to share?), a maddres and charging batteries - you only need your planes, transmitter, charger and a sleeping bag.

3 weeks before the competition 15 pilots have already registred, but we have room for more. We have 3 rudderles swedes, 3 dutch and 2 germans, which makes half of the pilots non-danes, and the competition will not be easy for those comming out in the top.
We have already 3 people flying in to Billund (observers from the F3K WC 2011 organisation group) and 1 german pilot is comming by train, and using our "pickup-and-free- tent-rent" offer, but we have also room for YOU

17 pilots showed up and we had a wonderfull weekend with lots of flying and only a little rain during the competition made us fly 15 rounds.

Nun habe ich endlich meinen Bericht fertig. Es war ein wirklich toller Wettbewerb bei dem man viel zum Fliegen kam - trotz kleinerer Regenpausen. Und die Beteiligung ist für nächstes Jahr durchaus steigerungsfähig .
