Virtualtransat mit 1231 Teilnehmer !!

Ahoi Skipper,
heute 12.00h (bei uns 13.00h)
hätte die virtuelle Regatta La Rochelle-Fort de France mit realem aktuellem Wind (nicht ca. 14 Tage alten Daten, wie sonst) starten sollen.

Es haben sich sage und schreibe 1231 Teilnehmer
gemeldet.

Das führte dazu, dass der Server nach dem Start in die Knie ging.
Jetzt gibt es einen neuen Start. Wann ist noch offen.

Hier die neueste Nachricht:

"Hello,

The server has crashed and destroyed the database. Things are back to normal now.
I am sorry for that. Computing is so ..

I am going to let the system behaving like this for a while in order to verify that it is ok. Meanwhile I'll send an email to all skippers to tell them that we are having a new start on tomorrow at 12hGMT. Before this new start I will put all the boats back on the start lane.
