Sense new fuselage build log

I have been flying the Sense since its first prototypes, I enjoy the build quality, the ridiculous long legs and the wide speed envelope but there were some aspects I did not like that I feed back to Andrey (I believe I was not the only one as in https://www.rc-network.de/threads/sense-f5j-von-aeromodelis-lt.723103/page-14). They were:
  • Very limited choices of 4S batteries that would fit
  • Not sufficient ballast volume for storm
  • Rudder attachment is not reliable
  • Tail too short
I never felt the last was problem, but I know many did not liked it. I like the sensibility of the short model to find thermals but no so much in gusty conditions. In fact, the longer fuselage gives a whole new feeling to the model as it becomes easier to fly and more predictable, I was impressed by the difference.

The reason I wrote this build log is that I found upgrading the fuselage was a MUCH easier process than I anticipated, so I would have done it sooner if I knew. Please find it attached in pdf and have fun.
