Hello,

Hab heute noch mal den Schwerpunkt ausgewogen. Ich hab nach Fahrwerksschächte verkleiden und die Alu Steckung vom Höhenleitwerk gegen ein Kohlerohr tauschen nun aktuell 102g Blei in der Nase gespart und bin trotzdem noch etwas opflastig bei komplett leerem Tank.
(Schwerpunkt 150mm)


Werde noch ne APC statt der aktuellen Sep-Holzluftschraube verbauen und den spinner lackieren. Dann kann ich bestimmt nochmals 50-80g rausnehmen...

Gesamtgewicht kann ich aktuell nicht wiegen, da meine Waage defekt ist, die Neue ist aber auf dem Weg zu mir.

Tacho,

habe heute meine neue Waage bekommen.
Die Spit wiegt nun 7790g leer.
Wie schon geschrieben, werden ich noch nen schweren Propeller verbauen und kann dann mit Sicherheit noch einiges an Blei rausnehmen. Denke 50-100g werden das auf jeden Fall sein!

thanks!

I did already 3 flights last year but with to much elevator throw. That made her very itchy so be sure to have not to much elevator throw and enough expo on it...

Yours looks very nice an the motor sounds great. Wich one is it?

Its an Saito FG40cc (four stroke gas engine), not much thrust, but sound is different from 2 stroke,
and thats what I am into after few 2strokes I had until now.

Did you record any flight Dave?
Any tips to bring her down safely, your preffered CG, flap deflection, throttle%, speed ... all can only help

4 stroke sound does‘nt compare to anything in a warbird good choice!

Yes i did record the first 2 flights but i will not put them on yt. I‘ll do another vid when the season starts and upload it...

Bout the flight:
like i said shes very wriggly on the elevator. The flaps do their job more than well. I set them on almost 90° for the first flight and that was way to much unless you have a lot of idle speed. For now my flaps are about 30° down, this allows me to have i little bit less landingspeed but NEVER make her to slow. She will stall without any announcement...
Keep enaugh throttle and speed.
when she‘s airborne, she flys almost by itselfe.
CG is an 145mm

Hallo,brauche mal einen Rat zum E Motor für meine Spitfire. Habe 8 bis 12s 5000 Zellen. Die Joker Motoren gibt es ja von 205,225 und 280 kv. Am Liebsten wäre es mir wenn ich bei 8S bleiben Könnte.Vom Gewicht der Spitfire würde dort der 280 kf 6360-8 reichen? Meine kommt diese Woche.

Hallo,meine Spiti ist auch angekommen.In einer Fläche fehlt die Aufname für das Fahrwerkservo.Ist eure mit Klarlack behandelt,bei meiner ist nichts. Dann brauche ich mal eure Hilfe,es kommt ja bei mir ein Elektromotor rein und da ist im Kasten ein teil was ich nicht so Richtig zuordnen kann. Habe es am Rumpf einfach mal angesteckt mit einem Holzstück,ist das so gedacht? In der Anleitung ist nichts aufgeführt. Der Schwerpunkt bei 140mm ist mit Akkus?

Hi, schreib doch mal was du rausgefunden hast. Ich kenne das zb. von der Black Horse P 40. Da gibt es einen kürzeren aber stabilen Motordom für Verbrenner und einen leichteren aber längeren für E Antriebe.
