Phoenix Viper - die neue Referenz

Hello.
First of all, happy new year 2024. I wish you a lot of pleasure with your planes and especially with this new and beautiful Viper jet.
For information ( if you are interested) ,and if you want to compare, I have in my side both the Viper 2m black Horse and the MBB 339 Hangar 9.
the weigth of my viper, ready to fly ( main tank empty) with Turbine K85G2, full light Unilight and landing gear mixed electron + Jphobby : 8.55Kg
the weigth of my Mb, ready to fly ( main tank empty) with Turbine K70G2, full light Unilight and original landing gear : 10.10Kg

Ich werde die Schächte etwas breiter fräsen und Standard Servos einbauen. Ist zwar ein wenig fummelei, macht aber die Auswahl bei den Servos einfacher. Ich verwende gern das Savöx 1256 oder 1230. Bei den Ruderflächen reicht das alle mal. Stromversorgung über die Zentralbox 310, da kann ich die Ausgangsspannung regeln und meine bewährten Servos einsetzen.
Does anyone know if this model will be offered in the US? I have tried to contact Phoenix via social media like Facebook and also leaving messages on their YouTube videos but no luck. I also tried emailing via their corporate email account and calling the phone number listed on their website, but still no luck. All I want to know is if this model will be offered by anyone in the US, or should I order through suppliers in Europe.
I think you should better contact Horizon ind the USA..if I do not mistake, they are the worldwide distributor for that kit.

So I took your advice and asked Horizon via chat. Their response was a bit funny but I get the sense they might be selling this soon. I asked if they would be carried by Horizon and sent them a link from the Phoenix website. Their response "As of right now, I cannot say". I then asked them, As of right now? They replied "Yes. Currently" I then asked, OK, if you did sell this jet then would it be sold through Tower Hobbies? Their response "Yes, if we did, it would be sold by Tower. But I cannot say if we will be carrying it in the future" So there ya go, looks like no real confirmation either way but it makes sense they would sell it as it's literally the same color as the MB339 Horizon sells and made in the same factory, plus it would make a nice upgrade from a 90mm EDF Viper for those wanting to get into turbines.
Vielleicht hat sich die Referenz in Luft aufgelöst, man weiss es nicht… sehr ruhig mit der neuen Referenz; gibt es denn nicht die erster Erfahrungen?

Wir haben einen im Club, der schon seit 2 Monaten in der Box wartet, er hat Angst, der erste Betatester zu sein

Bin dabei meine aufzubauen. Tragflächen sind fertig, Servos, Fahrwerk und Beleuchtung (45W) drin, die Beleuchtung zusätzlich mit Blinklicht und Landescheinwerfer und Beaconlicht oben und unten.
Die Winglets sind nicht optimal, weil die Winkel nicht passen. Ergibt oben oder unten einen ungleichmäßigen Spalt. Leitwerke sind auch fertig.
Bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten (ausgebrochene Haubenriegel) soweit Ok Bin jetzt mit der Installation im Rumpf dabei. Wenn der Beutel (Frästechnik Trost) da ist, werde ich auch den schon einbauen. Turbine (K142 G4+) wird es zur Prowing geben, dann sollte einem ersten Flug im Mai nichts im Wege stehen.

Ist die Beleuchtung inklusive? Welche Servos hast du verwendet, wenn ich fragen darf?

Beleuchtung mache ich immer selbst. Benutze dabei das Steuermodul von Hacker, Aurora LCU, entsprechende Vorwiderstände und 5W PowerLED`s für Landescheinwerfer, Navigationslicht und Sroboskoblicht in der Fläche, Hecklicht und Beacon oben (Rot) und unten (Weiß)
HV Servos probiere ich diesmal von Unilight (KingMax) machen einen sehr guten Eindruck. Spielfrei und Stellgenau. kann man einiges drüber lesen.

Wenn sich schon jemand viel Arbeit mit der Beleuchtung macht, dann bitte nach hinten immer weiß und nicht rot, rüng, gelb oder sonst was.
