Tesa Hinges

greetings,
I'm hoping someone has the link that shows how to make a hinge with the tape. It was an attachment in a thread which I cannot find now... Frustrating. It was a very good diagram with different colors for each piece of tape. Thank you in advance for your help!

Once you've built the hinge like this 2-3 times, you'll be able to remember it.

I have done a number of different type of hinges, but it appears that these are the best for F3RES models especially if using pull springs. I will remember after doing it the first time! But I had to find the instructions I found but lost!

I might be in big trouble in 20 years when I forget my name....

BTW do you have a prefered 12mm wide tape that you use for this task?

Hey Brian,
so with the hinge you will have long joy, there is nothing warped. Especially important with a rope / spring control.
I haven't been able to find some articles in the depths of the forum. But there is always someone who knows.

I prefer to use “TESA Office” tape for the hinge. This is also available in 15mm. Before applying the tape, you should degrease the relevant areas and make sure that you do not put your fingers on the adhesive surface. Then it should last a very long time.
