I started this project on 2014.
Main characteristics
wingspan 3.1m
fuselage length 3.0m
scale is around 1:22
First model was EDF version with two Schuebeler DS-94DIA-HST. Foam wings, sheeted with balsa and fiberglass.
With two 12S LiPo's (5500 may) flying weight was 19.8kg flying time 5-6 min
On this model I was testing all parameters: airfoils, angles, fowler flaps and more other.
Second generation is Jet engines powered and full composite construction. I made moulds.
Landing gear and air retract are handmade also like a wheels
Few days ago was maiden flight of Jet version.
Dry weight 16.3kg
Two JetCat P-100 reduced to 80N of thrust each
Two 2.7L fuel tanks
Strong wind conditions flying time 8:30 min
More flights was better weather conditions
Next step is to change engines to for example KingTech K-85 and reduce dry weight to 15 kg.
