Hi. I did most of the design work and testing on this plane.
It is an updated version of the Electrifly L-39 that we released a few years ago with reworked duct work. It uses a 56mm Hyperflow with a 24-45-3790 Ammo and a 4S setup. It is basically the same setup as used on the Phazer and the Evader.
During testing I recorded peaks of 95mph straight-and-level with unlimited vertical, but the airframe is light and forgiving enough that it will also fly predictably at slow speeds.
It's a fun little, no-worries plane...I still fly my prototype and it still brings a smile to my face every time I do for its simplicity and good performance without being nerve-racking. However based on comments from other users (I have not tried it) it might be possible to get even better performance by using one of Don's motors!
For launching I simply go to about 1/2 power and underhand it. It never fails.
