"Last year we started the worldwide virtual RES competition.
So, as of december we start again with this competition, just for fun and to pratice the RES skills.
F3RES contenders from around the world get together to play/fly in their hometowns.
Each month, every pilot is ranked against all other pilots in the League, all around the world. Other then a normal competition the temperature is the handicap which is added to the score.
This competition takes place in the winterperiod, december until april (that's why we add the variable temperature). Every month we have a winner with the eternal RES fame of the month. Flights made, can be registrated in the database on our website (more attempts are possible if you want).
The spreadsheet, for calculating your scores can also be found on the website https://www.f3res.nl/f3res-wedstrijdkalender/vcr.
The F3RES flying rules are: workingtime 9 minutes, flighttime 6 minutes.
The score is (Flighttime in seconds * 2) + Landingpoints (F3J-style) - (Temperature * 5).
All is calculated in the score-sheet.
So happy landings and enjoy your pratice.
Greetings,
Willem"
Frohes Winterfliegen
Jörg
