it flies great!!

i use a gws edf 40 with 40mm diameter and a feigao brushless motor.. it needs 4 Amps and makes about 100 g thrust with 3s 350mah kokam.. it works great... i also use a "thrust pipe" (schubrohr) which narrows to 36mm with a lenght of about 18cm..

i hope that you can understand my english... omg i think i need an english course again!!!

ich hab mir doch einige Gedanken gemacht.
Um die F16 in der Halle halbwegs manövrierfähig zu machen, reichen die Tailerons einfach nicht aus.
Dazu müßte man auf die Ansteuerung des Leitwerks ganz verzichten und statt dessen:
1. riesige Querruder anlenken.
2. den Impeller mit mit einer Vektorsteuerung auf hoch/tief versehen.
Dann wären sicher nicht nur Rundflüge drin.
Was meinst Du ?

das mit der steuerung stimmt schon das sie etwas schwammig aussieht aber ich muss sagen das es nur so aussieht sie lag gut auf den rudern und hat jeden befehl gut umgesetzt.. rolle hab ich probiert ging aber nicht gut bzw. hatte dann schon einen schwachen akku... zu den loops- ich denke das sie das bestimmt kann und auch machen wird jedoch will ich das erst einmal drausen probieren... es ist halt ein jet der eher weiträumiger geflogen werden muss...

wegen schubvektorsteuerung hab ich mir auch gedanken gemacht- ich könnte an die ruderflossen ein stück overhead-folie dran welche dann zum teil im strahl steht und den etwas umlenkt... würde denke ich bestimmt die ruderwirkung verbessern!!!!!

naja mal schaun...

@ luis tell us more about your specifikations... 914mm long or wingspan? will you coat it with gfk?

Jim, The wing span will be 3 feet or 914mm.. Built with the same material as my other profile planes.. My Mig-29, Extra 330 and Black Adder you can see them in this picture..

I have no clue as to what the all Up weight will be, guessing in the area of 1 US pound.. I could modify the plan just a little to make it a prop pusher jet, of course giving you all the credit for the plans. Besides the plans being a little bigger There should be almost no modification to it unless, I make it a pusher prop plane in which case I will need to modify the motor mount..
