that was simple.
just take 1,3metre of feulline ,and a full lipo battery.
if the voltage drops under the 7,9 volts then the engine starts to pulse.

i first had 2,3 kg , that was not enough in my opinion.

maybe it wasnt a good idea to tell about my findings , i didnt know that it gives an impact that big.
sorry for the confusion.

oke ,that was a perfect test run.
de jetjoe junior (kolibri size) is now gone up to 2,2 kg (it was 1,3kg) with egt around the 700 deg, not bad.
as soon as i get more time i will shoot a video from both engines .

Regards,

Martin.

A Junior with 2.2kg, I have one at home (till friday) - it makes about 2kg - rebuild by the AUSJET boys.
I am selling the junior because i don't feel like using any more the blower to start up the engine.
But it is running good :-)

How does the JJJ look inside compared to P20 or Kolibri? Do you know which materials are used in the JJJ? thinking it's one thing to modify it to make 2.2kg and another to make it last for many hours as a P20 or Kolibri.

Hallo,
da hast Du recht - wie es da drin aussieht weiss ich nicht.
Müssten wir mal nachfragen, ob die jemand mal öffnet und reinschaut.
Meine wird verkauft - ich reduziere den Hangar.
Aber sie lief einwandfrei...

here you have some pictures of the junior engine.
looks very good.

the reason why i started with the tuning was the tractor i build.

i want 4 juniors on the tractor.
but the power was down ,so i thought about the tuning , and it works .

Hello Martin "Incone",

you are the one man on "rcuniverse.com" with the pulling tractor with 2 little turbines?
I have seen your pictures, very impressive!
So what is your opinion about the JJJunior?
I was very happy with this little engine, running smooth and accelerating as quick a an old colibri did.

Cheers
Fabian

What sort of unbalance did you se before fixing it? I know for reference that Lambert ballances until under 10mg/mm

it was at the compressor side.
i ordered two jetjoe juniors from Brett(ausjets) ,but what i saw scared me.
He remade the compressor and instead of left thread , he made right thread on the spinner nut.
So when i started the turbine the compressor came loose.
it was damaged inmediatly.
Brett refuses to fix the damage.
so that was ausjets , no more for me.
the other 4 engines had compressor vibration.
with the balancer of Miklos its now fixed .
it was just a wistle ,not much ,but it was not a nice sound.

especialy on high rpm 250k you dont want that.

Regards,

Martin.

Oh shoot , now you know who i am ;)

No, just kiddin.
Yes i am the one with the pulling tractor with 2 juniors.
first they where down in power , but with the tuning its much better now.
i even got a second place with the tractor.
i like the juniors , and the maintenance is also easy.
i also like the compressor , it has more flow then the kolibri engines.
what i also like is that you can order al the parts if you want.
for a very low price.
i have 6 engine now.
very nice to play with.

Regards,

Martin.
