Hello Ville,

this motor is to large in diameter and to heavy, if you get an 4s Lipo. The diameter should be less than 31 mm. The motor mount also should be 31mm in diameter. I bought him here:

Since the fuselage is oval, I would not cut it further back! Otherwise it looks like here:

An alternative motor:
Mega 16/25/2 with Kontronik-Gear KPG 25 5,2:1

or
NeuMotor 1110/1.5Y/3.2 (3025U/V) with Kontronik-Gear KPG 25 5,2:1

or
NeuMotor 1110/3D (2800U/V) with Kontronik-Gear KPG 25 5,2:1

I wonder if is the same electro-fuse we are talking about. Look at the following link.

This is the fuselage I bought but not recived yet.
I was told that the Poly-Tec 490-23 would fit, maybe there has been some misuderstanding between me and the dealer?
This I must check as soon as possible.

As for the weight of the motor, I would like the Aspire a little heavier for windy days.

Are you sure that the electro fuselage is bigger? The Het 2Wxx is also smaller than 36mm diameter.
With the 31mm motor mount and a 32 mm spinner retains its beautiful shape of the fuselage!
You can use the MEGA 16/25/2 with PG 3,8:1 on a folding prop with 16x8 Zoll and 3S Lipo. Look here:



The KPG 25 5,2:1 is better for 4S Lipo. Use searchengine and you find many dealers for it.

My Aspire with the above equipment weighs 2500 grams and also flies in windy conditions very well.
By the way, with the normal fuselage it's more flexible when you choose the battery.
The engine runtime from the post at RC Groups with the 3S 1100mAh Lipo is very short.

Thanks for your help, I appreciate that very much. I'm waiting for a response from the seller
regarding the dimensions of the new fuselge. It will be okay in the end. I'll write a post
when I have built and flown my E-Aspire.

Now I have it confirmed. The new electro fuselage can accommodate motors with 36 mm diameter without any problems. Although I don´t know if you can mount an 36 mm outrunner all the way up against the firewall One more thing that may be helpful to know is that the servo tray are supplied unassembled so that the pilot can decide servo positioning.
