I have some time today, so I'm bidding on something about an electro hull. I tried to make the hull as slim as possible, in the case of F3L versions the hull is about 24 mm, considering the diameter of the engine and therefore the internal diameter so that it can be replaced if necessary, the internal diameter turned out to be 25.5 mm. The used engine fell on an inruder from Ivan Horejší Dualsky XM2523EG-22 2900 rpm. The side panels of the electric versions are no longer composed of lightweight poplar and balsa but only full poplar, thus the outer diameter of the hull was 31.5 mm. Of course, we were thinking of fitting a two-cell Lipol but also a three-cell into the hull. Considering that we moved the servos to the center of gravity in the hull, there is enough space. The cone used was a 25mm diameter propeller 6.5/4. With this assembly and two cells, the consumption was 19 Amp, which the seller indicates as the maximum for 15s. That's why we switched the engine on to a three-position switch and set the second position to a consumption of approx. 15A, even with this consumption, the model climbed approx. 6.5-7m/s, and if it wasn't enough, there was still the TURBO option for those few seconds. We used a regulator from the Leomotion brand, which is 30A, but mainly has a BEC on the HV output, since there are still few small regulators on the market. The entire set of motor, propeller, controller, cone weighs 49g. You can see in the photos that there is no problem with two articles and it is fine with three articles. Of course, we will also try a stronger version of the /Heavy/ three-cell engine, but unfortunately I'm already waiting for Christmas and vacation because we have a pre-Christmas rush in the company, so something about this assembly.
