Ein Brett mit dem Servo drauf und einem Ruder dran zeigt Dir schnell was einfacher ist und spielfreier funktioniert.

Diese Anlenkung lebt davon, dass sich die obere und untere Folie verkleben. Wenn Du den Spalt zu schmal machst, musst du das Scharnier nachschneiden (und oben Tesa aufkleben um wieder dicht zu werden) weil es sonst klemmt. Mehr spielfrei geht nicht. ausprobieren. Liebe Grüße Schorsch

Wanted to update on the Coroplast tail. First one failed. Not enough surface area to securely adhere the plastic to the CF tube. Also CA glue was to brittle.

I reshaped the tail so there is more area to glue.

I used "Goop" to glue this time and it will not fail.

It's plenty stiff and holds up to hard launches.

I don't notice any extra drag from it. I'm sure it's there but not noticeable.

If your not familiar Coroplast is crazy durable. We used it on wingtips of fast wings and we landed on asphalt at 40mph. They never wore out.

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe mich entschlossen meinen zweiten DLG Bow etwas zu verunstalten.
Ich hoffe Franz und David werden es mir verzeihen.....
Ich werde einen Elektromotor Robbe 1820/10 als Heckantrieb einbauen.
Des weiteren habe ich gedacht, wenn schon umbauen, dann gleich auch noch Klappen einbauen,
damit er am Hang gezielter gelandet werden kann.

Fast fertig,
noch die Spinnerkappe drucken, die Servoschächte verschließen.
das Gewicht liegt allerdings mit allem inkl. 3S 550mA Akku insgesamt bei 384 Gramm.
Bin gespannt, ob die Klappen was bringen ???????

Hallo Windläufer!

Ich hab kurz drüber gerechnet.
Je 10° Klappenausschlag nach unten müssten die Ruder um etwas mehr als 1° nach oben.
Sprich: bei 45° Klappen nach unten sind die Ruder zur Kompensation ca. 5° nach oben zu stellen.

danke für die Info, werde ich berücksichtigen, ich habe die Beimischung des Höhenruder als direkt Einstellung auf einem Poti liegen, um während dem Fliegen Einstellungen vornehmen zu können.

Hallo zusammen

Ich habe gerade einen DLG-Bow auf dem Baubrett. Bisher hat der Bau super geklappt. Im Moment überlege ich mir die Anordnung der Komponenten. Da ich bisher hier in der Schweiz keine geeigneten 14500 bei den üblichen Lieferanten gefunden habe, ist die Akku-Frage noch ungelöst.

Folgende Möglichkeiten sehe ich:

• Selbst gemachtes Eneloop Pack mit 4 AAA Zellen, mit Mühe auch 5 Zellen für die höhere Spannung. Die sind mir idR am liebsten, weil ich sie im Modell lassen kann und sie immer einsatzbereit sind.
• 2S Lipo 550 mAh in geeigneter Grösse.
• 2S 14500 LiFePO
  Frage 1: Woher bekomme ich die? Hat jemand eine Bezugsquelle?
  Frage 2: Brauche ich da nicht Balancer Stecker? Hat jemand einen Link, der die Verpolung des Balancersteckers aufzeigt?

Der Shop ist gut aufgebaut - mit passenden Balancerstecker etc.! Ich nehme also die empfohlene 2S LiIon Konfiguration.
Ist zwar in DE, aber ich bin nächste Woche zum Glück dort und kann es dann mitnehmen

Finally got around to framing the plans of the DLG BOW110.

The plans looked so beautiful I felt compelled to preserve it.

Still love to fly the 110. It's beat up now but still flies amazing. Probably one of the best flying wings I've ever flown.

Hallo, auch ich bin der Faszination von Bow DLG erlegen. Aber ich bin ein leidenschaftlicher 3D-Drucker, also habe ich es auf meine Art gemacht. Es handelt sich nicht um einen reinen Bow110, sondern um einen VHbow
auf 110 erhöht, da diese Daten frei herunterladbar waren. Nun, schauen Sie. Jetzt warte ich nur noch auf das Wetter für den Flug.

Hello I'm so glad you like it. And so the AUW surprisingly came out to me exactly 320g as balsa. I will definitely provide the STL files, but please wait until I really fly it and I already know that I will change a lot of details. The weather is supposed to be pretty nice next week.

And I'm also really, really tempted to add a nose. The weight would go down a lot. And even though Franz vehemently denies it, I am convinced that it would improve the flight characteristics. Repus is a clear proof I want to make it as an exchange alternative and of course make the second nose for an e version.
